Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Faux Enamel.
This technique is pretty awesome. I sharpened 3 crayons onto white card stock. Next, I sprinkled on Pearl Ex Gold. I placed the card stock onto an old WOODEN cutting board and put a piece of wax paper on top. I used a heat tool to melt the crayon, all the while using a piece of card stock to "push" the melted crayons into all the white spaces. I pulled off the wax paper and sprayed clear acrylic over the melted crayon. This took about 3 minutes to dry!
The flower was stamped onto the back of the left over wax paper in Staz On and cut out!
The butterfly is a Spellbinder's Shapeabilities die that was cut and embossed. I rubbed a black pad over the embossed areas and colored with Copic markers.

Beautiful, Faith! And very clever to use spray acrylic ... much quicker indeed. The gold Pearl Ex is a stunning addition. I can't wait to try this technique. Love what you've created here!
