Wonderful challenge! I went w/ a barn red for accents on my barn and the wood has a definite red undertone. This is also another sneak peek of a new set Farm Life from Innovative Stamp Creations to be release tomorrow.
I love scenes and these images are just terrific!
For my card, I created the scene by stamping and masking the images onto watercolor paper w/ the black ink. I used torn masks to sponge in the ground areas and markers and a water brush were used to color the images. I stamped in some grasses w/ Kpad. Highlights were added w/ a white gel pen.
The sky was sponged in using a self made cloud stencil (thanks Cindy - Mothermark)and the blue inks.. The sentiment was stamped, cut out and attached w/ foam tape. I used a tone on tone stamping using the canvas bg image on the rust and blue layers. Finished card is 6.25 x 4.5 (the new A2 size photo envelope size).
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them
