For the Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturdays challenge, we were to create "what we want to be when we grow up". Fun challenge you could do with your kids (or not). I always wanted to be a NURSE when I was growing up until I was a young teen and realized I was deathly afraid of needles! At that point I changed my course of action to being a SECRETARY!

Adorable card, Darlene! I share your fear of needles, my friend! The nursing profession is a noble one, and I greatly appreciate it....just couldn't do it! I've got two brothers who are doctors, and I don't understand how someone who shares my DNA could do it!

LOL, I used to be afraid of needles until I had so many surgeries. I refused to get a painshot after surgery wanting it through the IV. They couldn't find the doc and after 8 hours of nothing, I begged for the shot. Now, I'll gladly bare my rear end for a needle, lol. Great card, I love that image and I really like the background papers & colors you chose....makes it all pop, yet gives it a distinct vintage feel. Great job. Thanks so much for playing along this week at SSDS.... Big hugs :-)
