Sorry, I am so late for this party. I have actually been here awhile but I am in the ladybug bus back in the bar watching Tom mix cocktails (I loved that movie and I thought he was the coolest when he mixed that drink). I am not drinking though - he is mixing teas for me and I am having peach fruit ice like the one they have at PF Changs. It tastes so much better after Tom shakes it with some crushed ice and a little Splenda. I am high on some caffeine though, so that Thug better watch out! I hope we have already saved Lou-la-Bella, I guess I better stop watching Tom and catch up on what is going on.
I really wasn't watching what was going on with this mission because my card has special powers. Inside is Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." I made this card for my youngest daughter, Alex, who is struggling with a female bully at school. Fourteen is a tough age and this girl is really targeting her verbally in every way. Maybe you all can drop me off after the party and help me talk to this mean girl. Right now we are praying but if it gets any worse, I will be going to the school with our notebook we are keeping documenting every little comment. Anyway, with this scripture and the power of God behind us and this great ladybug bus, we are surely going to save Lou-la-Bella!
If you haven't participated in the Teapot Tuesday Challenge and you are reading this, you probably are out there trying to find where you can do an on-line intervention or where you can get Dr. Phil to help me (aka Dr. Feelgood Frost for you Twisted Sisters out there). These are some really fun challenges and the trip into make-believe can be very alluring - check out the details at:
http://www.mothermark.blogspot.com/ or in the SCS forum under challenges and then in the second group of threads (it is usually first or second in there and references tea in the world of make believe or something like that - check post 153 for the details on this party).

Dude, where have you been? We need some blue lady bugs. Did you hear us calling for you? Turns out the thug bug is absolutely terrified of blue lady bugs! You have been watching Tom Cruise??? Oh! Well, that's okay, as long as it was something so important as that, we forgive you!! Snort!
Okay, here is the deal....our mission has changed! Instead of squishing this bug thug we are gonna make a deal with him. We release him from our clutches provided he will take a little side trip and has a talk with a certain 14 year old bully who needs to be given some of her own medicine! Me thinks if she is on the receiving end of some bullying by a bug thug, she will get the picture quite quickly!!
Not to make light of your situation Nancy. Its a downright shame you have to put up with this! I wish you the very best with this and I know your daughter will be so touched that you made this wonderful card for her! Hang in there, both of you! Your card rocks! Very creative and fun!
Let's go have a little talk with that bug thug! Snort!
Whisper: Thanks for the plug..I am not seeking your intervention, I love seeing you too much!

At first I thought you were watching a Tom Mix movie. Then I got the story straight. Like the colors you chose and the collage you created. Just sorry your daughter is having to deal with this type of situation. It must be upsetting to your whole family.

I love how the flowers are coming up through your sentiment panel. I agree with Pat I like how the letters in HOPE is highlighted. Teenage girls and boys too can be so mean. I will be praying for you and your daughter.

Awww, what a darling card for your DD. I, too, send warm thoughts that this bully incident is resolved toot-sweet. It is so unfortunate that your daughter must endure such unkindness, but your card is sure to bring comfort.

a darling card, and I hope you can get the problem fixed...I know a mother who lives in the bldg that I do, had that problem too and finally she had to go to the teacher too. It eventually died out. 14yrs old is a sensitive age for girls.
