Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge.
Every year I put up a "stick wreath." Seriously, it's a foam wreath with real sticks poked in it. I sprayed the sticks with "Spray Snow" as a JOKE, and gave it to a friend as a Christmas gift. You know what? I got it back as a Christmas gift the next year! We passed it to one another for over 20 years...She passed away 6 years ago, and I display it every Christmas. Speedy the Cat hisses at it, but hey, it's a memory.
I stamped the wreath in Espresso and used a sponge to add color. I filled in the berries with an Inkssentials pen.
The curved panel was cut with a Pierceabilities die. The Lime Squeeze panel was stamped with Basket Weave.

WOW! The wreath is very pretty with the white berries on it. Cute story and sad at the same time. Great memories too. I really like how you create the sketch and gives me more of idea of a breakdown on how you change it.

Ah Faith, I too have a wonderful memory of my Friend who died 8 years ago. We were always exchanging goofy items we made. I display them with pride and love.
Your wreath is beautiful. I love your talent. Thank you.

I love it. I love the balance with the patterned paper barely making a scene but right there in a supporting role. The colors are beautiful - and the story behind it is touching my heart.
