Can you see all of the little spiders in the pictures? There was an insane amount of them, just hanging around in the sun on their spiderwebs at the marina near the great salt lakes in SLC, UT. The tour guide told us about them before we got off the bus, but I still don't think I was prepared for the view waiting for us.
Those pictures were a great opportunity to use my Halloween stuff on a non-Halloween projects. I paired the Cast-a-Spell papers with the From the Crypt set. I stamped some spiders everywhere - on pictures, on papers, on my pocket...
Speaking of which, can you guess how I made that pocket? With the Big Shot and the Pillow Box die! Pretty cool, right? Just cut the top and bottom off of one of the sides, and add a score line with your bone folder to create the flap that will fold over your envelope. East-peasy! I also used the Big Shot to create my title letters, with the Billboard die.
One thing I have wanted to try forever is create a transparent layout. I've seen those in magazines and have never gotten around to it. The polka dot transparency included in the Night & Day DSP pack prompted me to finally give it a try.
