Well, several months ago after receiving my scor-pal, I made a tissue/soup/cough drop box. After several unsuccessful boxes I came up with this, but never finished it. Todays challenge gave me the opportunity to make a little gift card for my box. It fit into the box perfectly.. Now if I ever feel brave enough to decorate the top, (it's such pretty paper I hate to cover it up) I can give it to someone special.
The bottom of the box is made like a matchbox, the top is a reg box, adhered together with a piece around the outside. It could also be used for chocolate of course. But anyone that knows me knows that chocolate wouldn't last long enough to get into the box for a photo to show the use.
The little gift type card called a scapling for todays challenge LSC236 was such a great ideal. I hope to make plenty
Thanks for looking

Both of these are so cute! Love the box as well as the little border punch. Great job!

Super-cute box (is there a tutorial somewhere?). Why do you want to decorate the top if you like the paper so much? Perhaps you could just put a big button or something similar on top to look like another handle/knob to carry the box, that wouldn't take to much of the paper away...

This is a great gift set! Love your scrapling and box too. Like you, I seldom give chocolate as a gift, because it calls to me whenever it's in the house. Psstt! I'm over here, in the cupboard! LOL
