Another one of those projects that really took a turn. I stamped the sentiment in Real Red craft ink (seriously!) then intended to emboss with clear so that this would be black & white with a pop of red... well, I accidentally used white EP and kept wondering when the red was going to melt through. DUH! Well, then I decided to sponge with my basic black ink pad and stick with the B&W color scheme. Of course I'd forgotten how frustrating the black ink pad can be- it is a perfect match to the Elegant Eggplant paper which I ended up HAVING to go with. Anyway, I still like the end result but it's a bit off from my first two plans! In the middle of all this I took a break and a tangent and made an entirely different card that IS black & white. LOL!

I am so glad to hear that I am not the only one who has made the white/clear ep mistake!
I love the monochromatic look of your card, and it is fascinating that you achieved it with so many different colors. I think the purple gives the images a great ethereal feel that would be lost with b/w.
Thanks for sharing your fun story.

Not only do I love this card, but I love the details you give on how to duplicate your amazing designs. After an eleven hour day at an elementary school my brain just doesn't have any original creativity left!
