Here is my story:
Great-Grandmother Ellie, from Zeke's mother's side of the family... the Phants, had not been to a concert since 1923. But since heartfully felt the need to support the handsome young man, she really needed to dress appropriately. Besides there might be a handsome *old* man in the front near the orchestra where she hoped to find a seat.
She wondered what rocks had to do with concerts. Maybe she should wear her white diamonds? No... she decided on "her" grandmothers pearls. They were always set off so well by the black and white fleur de lis gown she had purchased in Paris on one of her many trips there.
She was sure that Mr. and Mrs. Zebralski (her granddaughter) would be glad that she made a special effort to travel to the concert. "My goodness," she thought to herself, "I don't even know what instrument young Zeke will be playing. Maybe he is even the orchestra conductor. I do hope the play my favorite Mozart piece. And I still don't know what *rocks* have to do with anything."

Hey guys! Grandma Ellie is here! I betcha she will know which teas are the best to drink!!
Well Grandma Ellie, what did you think of the concert? It just about blew you off your rocker? You were surprised at the sheer volume of it? And your grandson Zeke's apppearance was shocking? His red and black? Yikes! Stripes! Snort!
OMG! What an amazing card this is! Wouldn't it be cool if elephants really looked like that??? Although they would be giving zebras a run for their money for sure! Your card is simply awesome and your story is da bomb! That's what I love about rock concerts, they turn into family outings....at least on Teapot Tuesday they do! Hee!
Go glad you found us.....I LOVE your card! Yikes! Stripes!

once she got over the shock of the 'rock', ellie seemed to really enjoy the concert--but what no one knows is that she carried a pair of ear-plugs in her purse... you know, just in case the orchestra didn't play mozart...
i really LIKE this one! love how you mix-matched your papers... the elephant has a certain elegance [especially with the pearls!]... the whole thing is just LOVELY! great card! ~k
