AP alert: What started out innocently has ended up to be more major than first suspected, the Associated Press released this afternoon.
Apparently, at the Benevolent Society of the Aged's planned day trip went as scheduled, initially. One of it's oldest residents, Ms. Wanna B Detective had coordinated this long awaited excursion with tremendous excitement.
The Benevolent Society has a world reknown activities department, boasts its Executive Director, Peggy-Sue Stukky.
Many months ago, it seems, Wanna b detective aka Deborha Forbes, suggested an outing with her long time SCS friends. This trip required tremendous planning and communication, according to Ms Pammy Lawver, activities Director since 1967.
"We had to communicate with several US based assisted living communities to make this happen".
Happily, Ms Pammy was able to secure an elementary school bus for this journey. Plans were to have Ms. Pammy drive Ms Wanna B detective to northern California to Pick up Nutmeg, and her elderly sister, Connie jo. ED, Peggy-Sue was scheduled to ensure school bus compliance and oversight of the aged's behaviors.
Unpredicted was the horrendous monsong rain Ms Pammy encountered just after her Sacramento, CA arrival. Safely, she was able to pick up the 2 bobbsie twins and then head on over to Seattle to pick up someone by the unusual name of Stamp Muse.
Our sources cannot, at this time, confirm the whereabouts of Stamp Muse. It seems, Ms Pammy was distracted by Ms Wanna b Detective and lost control of her 12 seat capacity school bus. Passengers stated that when Wanna B detective tore off Ms Pammy's glasses, the bus took a tumble as evidenced by the accompanying photo. Police called Tow truck dispatchers immediately to upright the flipped bus.
UPDATE: 4.03pm EST
All passengers were safely accounted for and only the bobbsie twins required hospitalization for minor injuries. The whereabouts of Stamp Muse is still undetermined at this time. Family members have been notified and The Scarlet O'Hara Nursing Home has also been notified of Stamp Muse's unavailability. As for the others, it seems their angel was safely watching over them. Ms Pammy was issued a citation for not using her seat beat and Wanna B detective was served with a felonious citation for physical injury to a person and for failing to stay seated and belted in her school bus seat.
The search continues for Stamp Muse. Updates will be forthcoming as soon as new information is obtained from the accident scene.
Family has asked that no cards or money be sent to those located and returned to their assisted living communities.
Thanks MariLynn for the precious handmade pink flower! Thanks Stamp Muse for the currency paper used as the solid yellow line Ms pammy apparently failed to see.

aww Anne girl this is soooo fun and soooo creative...only you would think of something this ADORABLE!!! I love how you used these colors and your card makes me smile!
Oh Anne~ Great story....We will have to start a search party for Stamp Muse! With Wanna B's self proclaimed high IQ, she should have been able to read sign that all buses have... " ALL PASSENGERS STAY BEHIND THE LINE"~
I didn't think Pammy was that old.... should we register her for a room in the wrinkle ranch? 42 years as Director, she really should be retired by now. No wonder she crashed the bus~way to old to drive.
good thing the Bobsy twin only had minor injuries. Good Thing for Angels!!

Oh Anne, your people were very clever with this one. That shiny center line is very cool. Great bow and beautiful hand made flower too. I'm so glad you were able to photograph this scene with the bus and EVEN the angel.
It still sounds a bit wonky that you were there at just the right time, in just the right place...

What's more creative, your card, or your story?? Both are wonderful. I love the angel that was watching over and taking care of the passengers of the little bus. You are a fun one Anne!!
