Hi! This card fits today's Limited Supply Challenge: All about Wendy. Birthday cards using chocolate or brown, (mahogany-dark chocolate!), and a butterfly had to be made.
The Stampin' B's challenge is to use Clear Card Stock on their cards. My clear card stock is the "Burnt Umber" layer.
To get the clear card stock to hold color, I ran the card stock through a Cuttlebug embossing folder.
Next, I rubbed a Burnt Umber Palette Ink Pad on the BACK of the embossed area. This left CLEAR spots for the leaves! (Since this is a Hybrid ink, it STICKS to the clear card stock.)
I taped the CENTER down onto European Watercolor paper and cut it to size.
The images were stamped, masked and colored with Copic Markers.

Wow, wow, wow. You are definitely in fine form this morning. This is amazing - I would like to say it is one of your best but I say that every time and you are probably sick of it (but it is one of your best). The scene is really pretty and how you offset it is just stunning.

I love this --I love circles, sponging, your work. I am returning home from vacation, ready to get back and play play play. Until tomorrow.
