I titled this card peace, because of the scripture not because it was a peaceful technique. It all came about from being supply challenged. I had no brayer, no drywall tape, but lots of determination. I tried substituting a bottle of Ibuprofen for the brayer. How fitting. It didn't work really well. I tried substituting a piece of screen for the drywall tape. Not much of the white paint stuck to it. I ended up with white everywhere... fingers, desk... Now I am not one to give up. I really liked the mesh look so I decided to try and to a rubbing. I put the paper over the screen and lightly colored over the screen with a crayon. I like how it looked. I ended up doing a light green crayon on the one panel and a dark green crayon on the other. I stamped a floral background stamp on the white panel. I colored it with chalks. I printed the scripture on my computer. I inked up my new Martha Stewart flowers and added another butterfly...big shock there. I faux stitched around the edges and added a ribbon. So Lynn, I hope my altered card didn't stray too far. I also hope the economy starts turning around so I can afford to get to my wish list of supplies...

Wow, MariLynn! You never cease to amaze me! Your card is beautiful and your persistence is admirable! If I don't have all of the supplies (like today), I don't even try! You ROCK!!!

Trust you to find a way, MariLynn. I like your two shades of green, and the stitching too. I was smiling at your rubbing -I was resorting to taking a rubbing of the little buttons on my new monitor, because they are round the side, and I can't see them, and am still learning how to adjust the settings.
You're right, the strawberry plant is getting redder - but it never even flowered. TBH I think the little pot is too small, more ornamental than anything else. I had a much better crop when I just grew them in a window planter.

Wow! I love your innovative attitude and persistence! It really paid off 'cause I think your mesh looks terrific as does all your card. Thanks for the Bible verse...love it!!! Oh, love the butterfly too 'cause I'm a butterfly person. LOL!
