I made this card for my friend Dawn's (aka dawnmercedes) mom. She fell (a couple of times) and broke her ankle AND her wrist!! I am hoping this will cheer her up some . . .
I used my Cricut to make the swirly-twirly background piece (totally LOVING the Storybook cartridge)! I kinda got carried away with the polka dots on this one . . .

oh duh...I saw the "for Susan" and didn't connect it with MY SUSAN! haha...mom has a cricut and is going to be so glad so can do this too...with the right cartridge.

my card is still on display in the kitchen where I look at it often throughout the day. today i decided to purchase the cartridge so that I can make up some of these lovely cards....I am hoping that if I get stuck figuring out how to make the lovely twirlies that you will come to my rescue. It is such an amazing card!
