OMG, this MMSC15 really threw me for a loop!!! I thought, oh, this will be easy and I'll do a Christmas card. One of many I need to do. Well, I was determined not to use a white background for my image; hence, the problems started. I had to work hard to brighten and sparkle my image and adorn it with jewels to make it pop off that red. If you don't like bling, don't stop and look here, it might blind you!!
This was the for MMSC15 challenge that can be found here:
Their sketches always stretch my creativity somehow and they have great prizes too, so you might want to check them out.
I stamped the Snow Swirled tree in white, then restamped, embossed it with white, then rubbed the image with VersaMark, sprinkled it with heat and stick glue, heated that, then added dazzling diamonds and heated it to stick to the whole tree. I then popped it up on dimensionals. Whew, if that wasn't enough bling, I added lots of green and red rhinestones to jazz it up a bit. That is some shiny tree. I added a few parts of snowflakes underneath the tree because it looked like it was missing something, but not sure that was the answer. I used the Swiss Dots EF on the red oval b/g behind the tree and my scallop oval nestie to frame it. Added some more snowflakes, rhinestones, eyelets and ribbon and that was it.
Thanks for listening to my babbling, but I worked a long time on this to get it right and I'm a little punchy!!! Punchy Tired, Not Punchy Drunk!! There are some stampers out there who might misconstrue what I am saying and they know who they are!!
Thanks for taking the time to look and if you have a chance, let me know what you think!! Have a great week!

Pam, your Christmas cards are always so festive, bling it on me! Lol... yes, I'm just too silly. But seriously, I do think you've got a way with colors and making everything look delightful. Thanks for being a supporter and playing our sketch this week, xox ~Jeni & MMSC DT

I love it! Into my favourites - I think that your title would make a fantastic sentiment for a blingy card
What a detailed sketch - I really love how you used the eyelets & ribbon, and the layered snowflakes are too perfect!
