First of all, the overall's are "not" my design. I saw them yesterday from nikkischmaltz . They are adorable and I had to case them. She has a link to her blog with directions. boy and girl bibs
When I saw them, I thought of a gift card pocket. So today, I figured with the color challenge I'd make some painter's pants. They would be perfect for someone remodeling or buying a new home.. I cut a slit 2 1/4 inches across the middle of the pants and adhered a piece of cs to the inside of the front of the card to form a pocket. The front pocket is stamped with close to cocoa and adhered to the outside. I sewed around the edges of the pants with brown thread to match (close to cocoa). Found buttons to best match (taken with teal). I sponged the outside of the pants. I added the ribbon to form the painter's pants look. and of course I had to have paint splatters.
Thanks for looking

I love the painters pants! I'll have to check out the directions - thanks for providing the link. This would also qualify for yesterday's CAS28 challenge - masculine card.
