This week we are going to Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia! Somethin' about there's no room at the Inn so we have to stay in a lighthouse and catch 42,000 pounds of fish! It all sounds fishy to me! I think Mudder wants to stock her freezer for the year!
I've only been to Peggy's Cove once and it was really foggy so this time I brought my GPS and some rude lady keeps screaming RE-CAL-CU-LATING! (Well, at least it wasn't VOTE FOR ALICIA) I'd like to see her make a U-turn in the middle of the ocean.
I also brought my cane pole and some fancy lures (I don't do worms) and caught this cute little fish! He's too cute to fry up so we are going to have to buy an aquarium! I stopped by the store and got some of those cute little square fish patty thingies. They fit better on bread!
I don't know if this is the right lighthouse so I will mark the spot with an X on the side of my boat in case I have to come back!
The image was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black! I colored it using copics. The sky was sponged in using #Mothermarks# template! The fish charm is from an old purse! TFL

I agree that this little fish charm needs to be put in an aquarium. Now I am feeling very inadequate. It seems all you ladies can make wonderful clouds. My didn't look like clouds at all. I am going to have to sign up for the cloud making class. Those flowers are so pretty. Let's pick a few to put in the lighthouse to add to our party atmosphere.

What a great little causeway out to the lighthouse. I'm glad it looks like good weather, because I bet that wood gets pretty slippery in the winter, and some of the ladies who might have had more than tea to drink (or risked Peggy's fish tea, which sounds highly suspect to me, enough to upset a delicate stomach) might have problems if it were too slippery. And your fish charm, oh my goodness, I can't even use charms so well as that in my dreams, let alone IRL.

Beautifully colored scene! The fish charm is perfect. Lol at your recalulate line. Hope you don't go through the self serve line at the grocery store with your fish patties and have to listen to "Put the last item back in the bag" when you have already done that!

OH what a beautifully done scene, Francie!! I have been once to Peggy's Cove myself, and it sure is a lovely place! Just don't fall over the edge into the the sea!!! Not to be morbid, but I understand that is happened with ill effect. I see you have seen that photograph of our dear Anne Ryan in Connie Jo9's gallery. Oh, that's Anne for certain!! I'll say this - she sure is always the talk of the town. I think she must like it that way!
Your scene is really lifelike and crisp - beautiful colouring!!Are you sure it's not a postcard!LOL!!! Love the fish charm - the perfect touch!

That thingy in your boat is not a GPS system silly! Its one of those fancy fish finder thingys!! And its yelling re-cal-cu-lating, re-cal-cu-lating cuz you hit the Mudder Load and your GPS fish finder can't count that fast! Don't you blow this Francie, don't you loose this Mudder Load.....we need to fill our freezer...err..I mean pay our debts!!!
Alicia is back in California at a California Cow Acceptance Celebration. She will be joining the others tomorrow and making her TV debut next week. I told her to thank the teapotters in all of her interviews, especially you Francie!
What wonderful color you put to this card! Its very pretty and your little lure attached to a fish is spectacular too! That's the kinda lures us Teapotters use, not squishy worms that get messy with our cardstock!
Love that you are here....love that you brought in the Mudder Load...however, some of the other girls will say you cheated, I just know it!

Did you steal my GPS, because I lost it at the frog party, and my cows are still roaming the southwest! Your card is just delightful, such a pretty scene!
