Hee, hee! I just love where we are heading today! My namesake cove! Yep, it's Peggy's Cove. My dad is from Nova Scotia, so we traveled there each summer. My father would get the "itch" whenever july came around. Great memories. Had to share that!
Now for the real news. This week Cindy (MotherMark's) teapot tuesday party
is right dab in Central Peggy's Cove. You have to know that only 120 have residency there, but in the summertime there's millions of tourists that stop by just to admire the Maritime beauty and so it is. It's a small little lighthouse, but one of the most famous one too! So join us in the fun, I know Maritimers love their tea with milk and sugar, but me, I love mine with something extra! LOL
Had to catch a few fishies, that's why I'm a bit late this morning in getting here. Stop by, maybe you'll get to meet some of my relatives, but please don't tell them what I use in my tea okay. They all think I'm this sweet sweet thang, don't want to disappoint now! LOL
My little lighthouse was made with the Midnight madness sketch Priscilla Styles prepares each week also, this one was a fine challenge. Love the special ribbon treatment she added.

OMG....those fish on your card look awfully familiar....I think they, or their cousins, were in Colorado in May when I visited the Muddermark....they were the cause of a terrible incident.....glitter, glitter, everywhere........need I say more???
Oh, I just love it! The little fishies are so cute!! It's always so much fun to see your entry! Thank you so much for participating in the MMSC challenge this week. We appreciate your support and look forward to your playing again.

I can vouch for SnoSnot's terrible fishie glitter accident! Hee! OMG! How fun Peggy that they named the cove after you! Hee! What a fun and heart warming story this brought to light about your dad! I bet you enjoy yourself when you get to go back there!
I love your fun little card! You will have to mail this card to one of your family members. We will try to really behave Peggy.....so that we don't embarrass you in front of your family...or better yet, maybe YOU should behave so you don't embarrass US in front of your family! Snort!
Your card is creative and fun. I love it! Now throw that net over the edge and get back to work so we can get this fishing out of the way and get to tea and milk and goodies!

I guess we are going to have to write to google and tell them that they got the story all wrong about how it got its name. I love that we both used the same lighthouse. I love your brightly colored fish. They are too pretty to eat. Let's hide them or sell them to a pet store.
I will have to pass on the fishy juices.

Hmm, thank you for your kind offer of the fish tea, but I am not so sure. Chowder I might just try, although I am not a big fan of fish at all, to be honest. But tea - I'll stick to Charlene's coffee I think.
I love your very Chinese looking fish - the flying one looks like those fancy kites they fly.
I'm still racking my brains trying to remember what book I used to read that was set in Nova Scotia that made me always want to go there - I am so glad to have the opportunity this week.

Sooo pretty - especially those glittery fish and beautiful image. So peaceful looking!
How wonderful that you can be a great resource on this outing. Can you show us some of the cool places that only the locals know about? Those are always the best. I'll meet up with you later after lunch and my massage!

Well, I knew you wuz a special sweet thang! You have a cove named after you! I'm glad MariLynn is on the case about setting Google straight.
Now, Peggy, I'm all for the back scratchin' thing, but I hafta be honest with ya, gf....yer fish tea sounds a little fishy to me and I've had to warn some of the other tea partiers about drinkin' it. We want this to be a fair fish flingin' contest after all (even if Anne and I are gonna win it). If yer espeshully nice, we might share some of the winnins with ya (psssst! yes, some of them are in the packages on the tugboat).
I think you brought the purtiest and most colorful fishies to the party today and they fly, no less! Is that some of SnoSnot's glitter I see? I love this sketch design, too.
I'm so glad we have you as our experienced guide today. Now set aside that fish tea and let's go see what SnoSnot is up to over on the other side of the lighthouse there.

How sweet, your fish are the same color as the house part of the lighthouse! Glad you were able to catch these beauties early this morning. How fun this is for you, going back to your old stomping grounds. I just love fun memories. Love your care Miss Peggy. Mighty fine job. TFS :0)
