Well, thanks to Muddermark we are going to one of my fav places today.....Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia.....a simple lighthouse set among huge boulders and near a roaring Atlantic Ocean.
Now.....to the story....we have been asked to bring fish to the party.....which is due to her lack of confidence in us doing any fruitful fishing.....knowing the tea partiers, I have a feeling she is going to regret this decision.....unless she plans to cook them up right away, I am predicting that along with the light, seafarers will know where the lighthouse is by the stench........but who am I to question the sanity of that mountain dwelling Muddermark........one thing for sure, Peggy's Cove will nevah be the same once the tea partiers are done with it..........
thanks for looking....

At least you brought a good big fish along. And the Atlantic I am well familiar with - it will make a change to swim in it on the other side of the ocean to what I am used to. Will it be warm enough to swim - or will there be so many fish, and seagulls attracted by the fish, that I should stay safely in the lighthouse?

THAT'S the kinda fish we are supposed to catch! I remember now! I just remember somethin bout big lips, or was it big eyeballs....well this fish has both so Whoo Hoo! I will send the girls over to get a glimpse of this fish so when they are swimming around under the boat and spot one of these they call give us a quick call on their cell phone that they see one! Or maybe they can catch it by hand and stuff it in their wetsuit for the trip back to the boat! Whose first? You go SnoSnot!! See if you can get another!! We need two samples! Snort!
I love your little card! The expression on that fishies face is so.....so....well sorta tea-party like! Giggle! Fun, fun card! Now show me where those big boulders are, maybe we can catch us a sea lion, or do those live somewhere else????

Some fish!!!! She looks so surprised to see all of us! Better turn and swim away fast or she'll be the main course. Wait a minute, what's this about wet suits and swimming under the boat?
Beautiful colors in this card! They highlight the wonderful coloring of your gorgeous fish.

You are sooo right Joanne! I do love this cute pink fishie you got though! Think we can spare it and just keep it in a bowl.
I see you have been to Peggy's Cove. It's a nice a fun place to drop by. Used to go there every year as a child, my dad's from NS. It's sadly been 8 years since I've been there. We are planning a trip maybe next summer!
Have a nice time at the party Joanne, I've got some special tea made out of fish juices. LOL Come sit with me, I bet you'll love it.

I'm glad that Peggy offered the fish juices to you instead of to me.... I think your fish is simply adorable. We'll just have to find a place for her to hide from the tea partiers. I love your layout and the piercing.

My! What big lips you have, Zertie!
My! What big eyes you have, Zertie!
My! But what are those bags under yer eyes?
You been drinkin' Peggy's fish tea, agin? I told you that stuff was bad fer yer complexion. A fish should never drink fish tea. Come on over here.....Bertie's got some special sauce fer what ails ya.
Well, even with the bags under yer eyes, Zertie, yer lookin' so purty with those flirty eyelashes. You'll be good for lurin' all the boy fishies over to the fish flingin' contest. That'll be yer exemption from bein' flung yerself.
Hey, SnoSnot. Didja know that da Muddermark is tryin' to blind you by the light so she can win the fish flingin' contest? It'would 'pear that she be askeered of losin' her stamp collection. Yessirreeee. But Bertie and Anne got it all under control. If ya come on over with us, we'll share the stamp collection with ya.

This fish is great - I love that image. It just makes me smile each time I look at it. Great coloring and layout too.
I think you are right about the smell and about the place never being the same again after we leave. But then... is any place ever the same after we leave? With all the things that happen at the tea parties - it is a wonder we haven't been banned from everywhere. Of course, that may be why we have spent the last few weeks on a farm, at a beekeepers, and now in a light house!
Great card!
