This is a page I scraplifted from Valerie's (awjmgmom) gallery for this week's digi challenge DGC041: Forums at Splitcoaststampers) to digi-scraplift a page from her gallery
I colored up the word art to work on my page. I also recolored one of the bursts on the right of the pic to add some turquoise.

Wendy, this is a total "knock out"!!! I just LOVE it. The picture really takes stage even with the embellies. Just love the colors and special details. I know, it's been awhile since I've been able to scrap. I miss it so much. B/t summer with my son home, illnesses, my husband out to sea, my printer having to be replaced and lots of cards to keep up with, I haven't been able to get to the sketches. They are so much fun and help me get some pages in much need of getting done. Thanks for remembering me and I will try, but school is getting ready to start, our kitchen remodeled and holidays. Gosh, it might be January before I can get back into it. I will definitely have it on my list though. Keep uploading your beautiful layouts Wendy! TFS!

Great photo and embellies! But the part that stands out to me is how the scallops along the bottom only go part way across the page- makes them more noticeable, I think. (Filing away this detail for use on future page!)
