Pearlescent Across the Miles
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: cardsbynikki

This is my very first sketch challenge! I saw Carol_PA925's card for this challenge and thought it was so beautiful, so I CASE'd it. thanks Carol for the inspiration! It was quick and easy to make, so I made a few of them!

The pearlescent paper is from Walmart, and the card base is DCWV textured paper. The blue background is embossed with Swiss Dots Embossing Folder by Cuttlebug. The flowers are also CB Embossing folders. I put an adhesive backed gem in the center of each flower. The bottom piece is edged with Martha Stewart Lace Doily border punch. The Across The Miles is a rub-on.

Your card is just beautiful, and I'm so flattered and honored that you chose to CASE my card! I love how you used a rubon for the sentiment on that doily punched border panel! I love the bling and the embossed background too! WTG on your first sketch challenge - you did a great job and I hope to see a lot more of your cards in the future!!! Keep on stampin'!!

What a cute card. I have some friends oversees and this would be so perfect for them. I have that embossing folder and have yet to use it. Thanks for the idea.
