Finally! I've had the backpack done for a while but wanted to add the paper dolls, which took more time than I thought it would figuring out how and what products to use. Anyhow, I have lots of clothes done for these cuties but chose not to clutter up the picture with them. They are both wearing bathing suits that I designed and cut out of designer paper and then glued on them so they are always clothed
The backpack whose directions can be found here will hold the dolls and their clothes (unless I make more ). I made it for my grand-niece who will be five in November and desperately wants to go to big kid's school, but her birthday comes too late for her to go this year. So it's another year of pre-school.
The backpack was made using Crate Paper (an older design), eyelets, magnetic snaps and ribbon from my stash. I added faux stitching around the flaps with a white gel pen.
Thanks to Beth for the challenge and to Mary for her wonderful directions!
Thanks for looking and I hope it inspires you try something new.
