Oh how I struggled with this card, changing colors and papers and moving stuff around – way too much time spent on one card! But there is a LOT going on here! It is for my niece, who enjoys dabbling with stamps, though, so I think she’ll love all the patterns and textures and colors.
The ¾” circle “cherry” has a thick application of Crystal Effects, so it’s really shiny with lots of dimension IRL. The cupcake's icing is cut out of Doodlebug glitter paper and popped up on dimensionals. The “12” is paper pieced with the fun gingham paper. I used my new Cutterpede with the scallop blade to make the frame around the main image and also for the green strip. (I think I’m going to love my Cutterpede)
