This card is my homage to Led Zeppelin's The Song Remains the Same and all the other 70s style videos and concert footage they used to make. Remember before the MTV era when they showed "videos and concerts" they would add the groovy graphics. The best they could manage was the "rainbow halo" around the guitar player while he jammed. I think they were all "on something" when they had that idea!
BUT....I loved it then and still love it now, so this is my take on that! I knew when I saw this stamp that I wanted to re-create that groovy feeling in a card so I made this for my son's upcoming 13th birthday and for a card swap I am in, too.
I used Extreme Guitar and Extreme Elements stamp sets along with the word ROCK from Just Jawing stamp set.
Basic Black and Whisper White, along with Brilliant Blue, Real Red, Yo Yo Yellow and Glorious Green inks and markers were used.
The Spiral punch and both stars and some circle punches were used. A silver library clip is used on here too.
I wanted the look to be like some boy's doodle he decided to hang in his locker. The stamp-a-ma-jig was used to create the multiple layers of the guitarist and the final guitarist is stamped in Versamark and embossed with black EP.
