I am so happy to see we are honoring Stamp Muse as the Featured Stamper today. What a sweetheart, so support of others here on SCS and generous to boot! It took me a long time perusing M's gallery before I landed on one card. This ONE here captured my imagination...I loved the layout and all the texture. I changed the colors, orientation, and used pictures from real dragonflies in my garden. I kept the layout and main components of Michelle's original.
Just last week, my DS Sam and I caught this interesting zebra patterned dragonfly near my 7 Son Flower tree...it is flowering now. I couldn't resist using the real thing in casing M's card. The Basic Grey paper from Lime Rickey Catawba Flip was the perfect pattern for my background. I used a piece of BG to make the scalloped edge also. The fab distressed mat is New Leaf from PTI. I curled the edges with a pencil and the Making Memories distresser. The quote is from B Line Designs.
Thanks so much for looking...I have missed creating and our community. I appreciate your comments. Happy Sunday.
There's a great picture of one of my garden rooms on my blog header...amble over sometime!
And to my friend, M...so so happy for you!!!

Sweet Susan, it's so soothing to see you back in the gallery. I know I'm not the only one to miss your works of art. Speaking of art, this is such a glorious card. I looked at this one as well, but only you could bring it to life as you have.
Beautiful choice of BG LR paper. Your photography is wonderful. Yikes, I just hopped on over to your blog (I dont do blogs) and was totally amazed at all God's beauty right in your backyard. It's a slice of heaven for sure. If that were in my by I'd be out there in that chair you've got in the corner filled with wonderment as the sights and sounds of God's garden. It's wonderfully peaceful there! I hope you've found some time to sit and enjoy all that is truly beautiful.
Your card is a wonderful testamony to M's style. You've clearly captured the true essense of what she put to paper. Beautiful card, Ms. Susan.
