Congratulations to Stamp Muse for being Featured Stamper. I chose this cute ladybug card as my inspiration: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...;ppuser=177892
I started with red bazzill cs as the base. I used a scallop border punch on black bazzill cs for the strip along the side, add white dots using a opaque pen in the holes. I used DCWV lime green dot dp. I adhered a strip of red polka dot ribbon with liquid glue (didn't have any tacky tape), you could see a little of through the ribbon. I stamped the ladybug on GP white cs, used a medium circle punch and ran it through the CB swiss dot folder. I then colored with a red Mark It Marker. I had to use tweezers to hold the tiny googlie eyes and glued them on. I had pre-cut grass from Michaels off the clearance rack for $.50 for a whole pack. I layered with a large scallop circle punch on black bazzill cs and added white dots all the way around. It's raised using a 3D square. I used a medium oval punch on DCWV lime adhesive dp, layered with a small oval punch on red bazzill cs and used a small scallop oval punch on GP white cs. I stamped the sentiment with black stazon. I also added white dots with the opaque pen.
Things I changed: switched from scallop oval to scallop circle,
the ladybug and added a third layer to the sentiment.
Thanks for a wonderful challenge. We got home at 11:00 tonight and I wanted to make the FS challenge.
