...are usually LOST. That's why they are wandering. duh! When I saw today's IC site , I knew exactly what stamp I was going to use. I was inspired by this painting. ........here is what I did.....
First I had to dig through my boxes of stamps to find my birch trees, which I knew was perfect for this. Before finding it, I gessoed a piece of white cs so it would be dry by the time I found my stamp.
I found it rather quickly, which in it self was a surprise to me! I stamped it on my now dry gessoed cs and clear ep it. Colored all around the trees with re-inkers. Shaded the birch trees.
Layered it with black cs, then put it on a white card that I sponged the edges with the same colors of the bg.
Loved how well it matched the IC, BUT something was missing. It just wasn't me.....SO I added the little chicken to whimsy it up a tad.
So, what do you think?........hope you like it.....TFL :0).....will be back later to comment. The laundry is calling me to take it off the line! LOL (see yesterdays card to see what I am referring too, in case you are confused.)

Hey gallery neighbor. I love your forest with your lost little chicken. It is your touch of whimsy on each of your cards that I love so much. You are so creative!! Your card looks even better than your inspiration piece!!!

Wowee - I love this card. The chic really does add a great touch. You did a fantastic job on those trees. I saw this inspiration piece on the site and wished I had the talent and stuff to do it - you had both and it came out super. Well done!

Yiks, that chicken in the middle of nowhere is creative genius at it's best, girlfriend. Let me ask you: why did you gesso your cs before stamping your image? Is gesso just like modge podge? Anyway, I always love it when Lazy Lizard pulls up the FSer challenge card she's casing, and I see you've done the same today. That's such a great way to let everyone know where your inspiration came from. oh, arent you the clever one! Your birch trees are so perfect for that inspirational piece, Nutmeg. Totally awesome recreation with that unleashed imagination you seem to have!

The birch trees caught my eye, but not nearly as much as your card! Fabulous artwork and the little chicken just makes it so much your own! TFS!
