Hi there,
Here is my card for the challenge today which was to create a card in a summer activity theme. Since my most favourite thing to do in the summer is go out and work in my garden I made this card using the new sheet from Innovative Stamp Creations called Ganzia Daisy. Great flowers and so easy to stamp with; there are 4 different sizes on the sheet. First I stamped the images using Adirondack currant then embossed in clear. I watercoloured by scribbling onto a piece of acetate with my Adirondack markers using Butterscotch, Currant and Terra Cotta and picking up the colour with a water pen.
The script bkg. paper is from Making Memories....Ledger paper which I 'faux' stitched. The sentiment is stamped onto a Heidi Swapp Journalling Spot and mounted onto a piece of Scrapperdashery paper. Added the buttons to the flowers and more 'faux' stitching around the sentiment which is also on the sheet.
Hope you like it and thanks so much for looking,
Happy Summer,
Karen

Oh, gorgeous. I'm assuming they are what I know as Gazanias, as I know they come from S. Africa. Love the flowers, love the image - and the buttons are such a perfect addition.
