For today's ways to use it challenge in which we were to use variegated elements in our projects. I think I've been on summer vacation too long, cuz I went a little crazy with this one.
Used a variegated ribbon as my starting point and selected pale plum, perfect plum, bermuda bay, and old olive as my colors. The ribbon also had a shot of silver through it, so I added that into my other colors also. Used the baby wipe technique to stamp my images and then swiped the inked up baby wipe across a matching piece of cs and created a bg panel. So,....I have variegated elements in three places on my card! I think it's pretty wild looking, but not unhappy with it. Has my fave color combo of blues, greens, and purples in it! Used a versamarker to draw around the image layers and used silver ep to emboss.
So, do I need to go back to work or what? Teacher days start on Monday!
