Last week I made a card using the little bumble bee and "bee my honey" sentiment from the new Chicken Girl Design stamp set called Hugs from a Bug. Over this past weekend, the wheels were turning in my head and I got to thinking about the cute bear that is in the Into the Forest stamp set. And well, we all know how much bears love honey, so this idea came to me and here it is! My daughter Kelsey has now officially named this guy Honey Bear! I searched online and found a line image of a honey pot, printed it out on Neenah cardstock, colored with Copics and tucked it into Honey Bear's arm so he can enjoy his honey anytime at all! I used the sentiment from Hugs from a Bug, inking up first and stamping the "Be" (easy to do since these stamps are clear!) and then inking and stamping "my honey." I also used today's sketch challenge for inspiration.
Thanks for looking!
