This turned out so beautifully, would LOVE to see it in person. ;)
Everytime I have tried it, the colors still show through the black. What's with that? Do I need to keep adding layers of black or what?

I layered the black on until my fingers, my work surface and the card were covered in black. It took quite a few reinkings and my brayer is now permanently black, I'm sure. I was more stubborn than the colors were!
I know the instructions are probably somewhere on this site but here goes:
I brayered a piece of white paper with my spectrum pad, let it dry completely, versamarked the butterflies and embossed with clear, let that dry completely and then brayered black over it until there was no color showing except where the butterflies were. Once that dried I "buffed" the butterflies to take off any extra black. It was easy but a bit time consuming covering the color with black. Worth it though, you should see it in person!
