How thrilled was I to hear that Sleepy In Seattle is today's featured stamper! So well deserved and I am so happy for her! Joanne's gallery is amazing and it was incredibly difficult to choose just one card to CASE. (And I hold her personally responsible for my being up at this late hour ... it's after 1:30 a.m. Okay, not really. It was truly a joy to CASE one of Joanne's cards!)
I did not want to change a thing, so I had to force myself to change 3 things per the rules. I flipped the layout, replaced the ribbon with a word window sentiment and added Gmund Treasury Gold Shimmer which was already on my craft table. Stamped the flowers onto reinforced red fiber stock and cut them out. Colored the leaves with Copics and colored the butterfly with Prismacolors.
I didn't feel like the butterfly popped quite enough, so I coated it with a brand spanking new gift from Brat Cards ... Versamark Champagne Dazzle. It added depth to the color and gave it a little shimmer that you cannot see in the photograph. I am ever so pleased with this new gift. The shimmer is subtle and perfect for adding just a little sparkle. Thanks Brat!
The stamp set was a gift from Peggy-Sue and I'm absolutely loving it! Thanks Peggy-Sue!
Added a little Dazzle to the center of the flowers, too; then popped up the flowers and butterfly on dimensionals.
Sorry the photo isn't crisp ... it's that nighttime photography thing ...
Joanne, congratulations again! Enjoy!
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Great case. I love those flowers and your butterfly is very pretty. I am going to have to get some of that Versamark dazzle stuff - it sounds really cool and looks great on this butterfly. Your cards this week/weekend are super!
