As you can see this design is a variation on my earlier efforts!
I am not fortunate enough to own or have access to a die-cutting machine so this is my first attempt at handmade flowers. I must admit to being pretty pleased with the result!
I hand cut the flowers and leaves freehand in what I thought looked like a poinsettia and to do this I used the plainer papers from the "Figgy" 6x6 paper pad. They were great to use as being thicker than the average paper they folded and moulded really well.
I inked the edges then added a button to each centre from my vintage button stash.
I really enjoyed making this as these particular Christmas flowers were a favourite of my beloved late Mother. I only wish she were here for me to send the card to.
As always, Thanks so much to all of you wonderfully talented people out there for taking a moment to look. I am not a member of any crafting group so to be able to share my crafty attempts with all you lovely people, means so much!
Happy Crafting x

WOW!! This is so pretty. I love making 3-d flowers. I think you did a fabulous job on your poinsettias. I love the centers. I like how you folded the petals to give them dimension. The recipient of this card will surely be blessed!
This is absolutely lovely! The flowers stood out to me right away, and I looked to see which manufacturer made them. Wow - you did freehand? Great job!!
