Here is a tip for those of you who have not yet made a card for this challenge...if you plan to pleat the ribbon it is probably better to pleat it, then add it to the card. I attached my ribbon at the top of the card and then tried to pleat it. I have odd looking pleats, but let me tell ya, if I wore pleats on my body they'd be odd looking too. I have some middle aged curves that remind me pleats are not for me, whether in real life or on a card.
Sorry for the photography, the quote on the side says "Better Living Through Denial."

Cute image! Well, if was wearing that spandex outfit, you would be able to see all the pleats I have even when not wearing some made from fabric!! Love your card...got a chuckle from it and from your story!

LOL!! I love this sentiment, and the pleats do NOT make your card look WIDE!LOL! Pleats wouldn't work for my OLD age body......but at 65 I figure I should eat dessert first, because who knows, right?? i love your images, and the ribbon pleated looks fine, but thanks for the tip. Don't try this with paper either.........bad choice!!!

What a fun card!! "And no, dear, your card looks fine in those pleats. You're being too self-critical." I think your pleats look just fine--they add lots of visual interest to your card (as if it needs more--it's already quite interesting with those great super heroes!!) Great job on this challenge!
