This is my entry for today's sketch challenge (SC240). This will be for my husband's birthday in a few weeks, so I wanted something on the masculine side. I thought these robots would work well.
I was so very excited to find two coordinating papers with a hexagon pattern--nuts and bolts hardware for my robots! I figured I'd finish it off with a hexagon shape for my "just roll with it" sentiment and three hexagon eyelets. Perfect!! Except that once I had all my layers adhered and was ready to attach my eyelets, I discovered that I had pentagon eyelets and octagon eyelets, but no hexagon eyelets!! Oops!! I went with the octagons instead, and I think it's OK. Unfortunately, the placement of the hexagon with the sentiment is a little awkward (because of the positioning of the sentiment), but it was necessary.
Anyway, I think my husband will like it.
Thanks for looking!
Emily

HB to DH when it comes around! Emily, this card is so cute! I love the robots and the dp.........the hexagon with the sentiment is wonderful, and I didn't even notice the eyelets weren't the same until you mentioned it. Who would even know?! Great job!!!
