Today's was made for a duo purpose. It is for the Color Challenge of Close to Cocoa, Blush Blossom, Certainly Celery, Cameo Coral, Whisper White. I used my cuddlebug argyle embossing folder for the background and distressed with memento ink. The rose is an Anita stamp and I used my nestibilities dies. Very quick and easy. The Happy Birthday frame is from JoAnn's.
The background behind the card is an Afghan I finished today. If you would like to see more of the Afghan your can visit at my blog at http://chocolatecraftsandbearsohmy.b...challenge.html. This is a direct link to the card and afghan. There is a full view of it and where I got the pattern.

Carol, your card is beautiful and your afghan is gorgeous as well! I love the title of your blog. I had to giggle. What a nice story as to what you like to do with your handmade afghans. I'm sure someone is going to cherish this one. The rose on your card is fabulous and has lots of sparkle! TFS your talent!

Wow!! Lots to see in this post!! The card is beautiful!! I love all the sparkle on the rose image and the texture on the background panel!! The afghan is gorgeous, as well!! Kinda makes me miss my crochet hooks! I have crocheted very little since discovering rubber stamping! Seems the only crochet I do now is little thread flowers for my cards!!
