I finally got to the MMSC12 challenge. I just love their layouts. Here is their link if you would like to join the sketch challenge and have a chance at fantastic prizes:
This card was made specially for a lady at my church who will be undergoing surgery this week for breast cancer. She happened to make a comment to me that she can make it with the help and support of her family and "friends". So, when I went to make the card, I found this sentiment in my God's Way stamp set that I thought fit perfectly - Friends are God's way of taking care of us! It just fell into place.
I used some Afternoon Tea DSP I have left over that Wattle sent me. Thanks Kathy!!! I'm still enjoying it!!! I used the flower from Asian Artistry and lifted the flowers and leaves up on dimensionals. I sprinkled the flower portions with Dazzing Diamonds and the leaves are coated in Crystal Effects so they appear shiny - although you can't see it in the photo. I added a heart/cross charm with ribbon at the top, some pearls-also sent to me by Wattle - can't get enough of them - and some MS tiny butterfly punches and an array of flowers in the bottom corner. I added some MS branches on the side of the image as the sketch challenge has some stitching going on on the side of the tag panel, but I chose to use the branches instead. It also helped pull a tad bit of green into the card to coordinate with the leaves.
That's it. Hope you like it. If you have a quick moment in your busy day to comment, I'd love to hear from you. Have a great week!!

Hi Pam! Just taking a quick gallop through the gallery before we take off on another camping trip and I spy this beauty. Love the Afternoon Tea DSP - still hoarding most of my stash of it...! This is just wonderful - still minding Pam's P-rules of cardmaking I see - pretty paper, primas, punching and pearls on this one! This will be deeply appreciated by your friend - my sister is a BC survivor - your support and prayers will indeed be a blessing to your friend. I shall hopefully get a chance to see a bit more of what you've been up to lately. Hopefully you've been keeping out of trouble my friend! Take care!

Ms Pam, there is absolutely no other word to describe this card other than gorgeous. There's everything added here that we've all come to look for and appreciate with your cards: warmth, precision and embellishments. How wonderfully thoughtful of you to create such a lovely and heart warming card for someone going through breast cancer. There is no doubt the beauty of your card and the kind thoughts behind its making will surely move your friend to tears: tears of joy knowing she has yet another friend who'se got her in her heart and in her prayers. Just beautiful, Pammy!
