This is LATE for the DTGD09 challenges, but I wanted to upload it anyway since I had it done before the August 1 deadline. This is for some friends' wedding today. Their colors are chocolate brown and lime/yellow green, so I tried to make their card using those colors. The inside is stamped with another stamp from the set that says, ". . . and they lived happily ever after . . ." and the back is stamped with "the end" (love this set!).
Here are the challenges that this meets:
DTGD09One_Happy_Stamper Sketch Challenge - I loved your sketch, Cindy!
DTGD09BevMom - Sew Unexpected! Sew up something unexpected such as waves, rays of sunshine, grass, etc. This may look very traditional, but I gave it my best shot to sew around the scallops on the Chocolate Chip. As you can see, I couldn't make it work, so I pulled out the stitching and faux stitched it with a white gel pen. But I was hoping to get points for TRYING!
The challenges were so fun! Perhaps I'll continue to play along even though they're over . . . .
