My project today is an altered school folder. I love buying them when they have the back to school sales. I open them up, fold the top down to make it a little portfolio. I punched holes in the sides to attach some twine so that it could be tied shut.
I don't have any die cut machines so I used my flower punches. I used my big flower punch to punch 2 flowers for each flower. I used my little flower punch to punch 1 for each flower. I layered the 3 flowers and added rhinestones. I cut a fringe of green carstock for the grass. I made paper crimper leaves for my flowers. I made this little outhouse by hand several months ago and had it out on my desk today. I scored it, sanded it and added colored pencils lines to make it look like wood. I added a little Thinking of You sign. I chalked the clouds and used my black prisma colored pencil to make 3 birds flying in the sky.
I am going to fill this up with stamped images and send it to one of my SCS friends that I have been thinking of alot lately. She has a wacky way of looking at the world and I think she is going to love this.

Cute cute cute MariLynn! Love your little outhouse. I am so glad they invented indoor plumbing. I remember visiting my step-grandmother. She didn't have hot water inside, but thank goodness she had a running toilet. But, it was on limited use because of the septic pump. Anyway, we had to bath outside. What fun as a young girl! Love your sentiment and all the other little extras you did here. Awesome creation! TFS :0)
