I was glad to see that I could use Paper Makeup's friday freebie on today's card! After reading this sentiment, hearts was the way to go. I used my die cuts to make the background paper with a stenciling technique. There is a row of paper piercing above and below the hearts...hard to see in this pix. Though the more I look at this card, the more it looks lik ea tuxedo! haha

I can see the piercing along the top. Definitely a special event black-tie feel to this.
I really like your avatar, too. I have hopeless picture memory, and can't remember what it used to be, but that poppy is so summery and lovely.

Would you believe I LOVE the colors???LOL! It is sort of tuxedo-ish, but isn't that fabulous? It makes me think of a wonderful night on the town for Valentine's day!! Beautiful, and great idea to stencil the hearts, Dawn!!
