As I was blog hopping one night I found this faux wood frame technique on SCS by Dirty Girl Kim Teasdale, and I had to try it! It's so realistic and fun to do.
I made mine with a white washed look to it by using white cardstock as the base and using Tea Dye and Vintage Photo Distress Inks. I love how it turned out and will definitely give it another try!
This Sugar Nellie image was colored with reinkers and an aquapainter and popped on dimensionals. The background was sponged with Cool Caribbean and Certain Celery. I also borrowed Paula Williamson's grass technique to add some detail to the grass.
