I wanted to jump right in this week for the CAS challenge and in the process I'll also knock out three DTDG challenges for use of food, special ribbon treatment, and paper tole. How can I get all that in a CAS challenge you may ask? Take a look and tell me what you think.
I am going for a retro look, using bright green, turquoise and black gingham. The base color alone catches your eye. I dug this stamp set out of the 'to sell' pile to use these cute strawberries. I did a quick watercolor with Rose Red and popped them up for paper tole, another DTGD challenge. The entire textured white panel is lifted on dimensionals.
The ribbon is super cool, I just purchased it. It has a string run through it, so you pull the string and it makes a tiny florist bow. The sentiment was stamped on identical DP, punched with the modern label punch and lifted on dimensionals.
Thanks for viewing and sending a few comments my way.
