Here at last is my scene for Kittie's challenge. Tell me to do a scene and I go blank, so in the end I resorted to my all-time favourite SU set. I think this actually qualifies for the Dirty Dozen central theme too...
5 3/4" square base. I used some Polished Stone left from Jami's challenge for the sea, tore one edge and distressed the other. Stuck it onto white card and stamped the sandpipers. Stamped the sand and chalked it. Cut out some cloud templates, stuck them down with temporary adhesive and chalked the sky. Drew a little boat and coloured it with distress inks, cut it out and stuck it on. Die-cut the image, sponged the edges and stuck it on over some magic mesh. Added 3 little shells, and some Frosted Lace stickles for waves.
Hint - when die-cutting remove cloud templates - after going through the Wizard, temporary adhesive is a bit less temporary. I think I discovered this before and forgot.

Sabrina, this is an adorable beach scene and your perspective is not wrong at all. I love your birds in the foreground and your boat definitely appears way out in the water. I think you may just let yourself get rattled at the thought of scene and you don't realize how lovely your project is. I love it. Thanks so much for playing and stretching yourself. that's what it's all about. And your achieved so much more than *you* think. Hugs.
