For the Boys DTGD challenge I used a Thomas Kinkaid fishing scene I had never used before - sitting in my drawer for a year. I decided to stamp on glossy and use copics so it sort of came out more impressionistic though this was not necessarily my plan...Anyway, since we had to use 2 stamps, I grabbed a tiny bird and stamped him in night of navy standing in the water at the bottom right corner. To make sure this could not be possibly conceived as other than masculine, I bribed my dh with teriyaki chicken tonight and he gave me his new shoelace from his new tennis shoes. (he decided the grey didn't match his new shoes). How many of us have used a shoelace on a card before? LOL! The creamy carmel was distressed with Tim Holtz tea dye. And now you know more than you probably want to.......
Except that this is also my "scene".

WOW! This is a great card. Love the Monet-esque "painting". I have the vignette version of this stamp and find it very intimidating to color. You've done a wonderful job. tfs.

This is beautiful! I remember seeing it during the DTGD weekend, but didn't take the time to comment then. This is such an original treatment of the stamped image!!!!
