I made this card and the Fishy Friends one too. I found it easiest to use the small bathroom cups to mix white glue (Elmers) and pearl ex powder. You need to enlarge the hole in the glue bottle to get enough glue to come one without breaking your hand!!! I put from 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch in the cup and then mixed the glue with a little pearl ex. I started with a little bit picked up with those flat tooth-pick like little sticks in the craft sections of Walmart or Michaels, etc. When it was partially mixed I dumped it on a quarter sheet of white CS. This is a good place to use CS you want to get rid of because it will be entirely covered with the glue. I used the little stick to spread the glue mixture over the CS. By having it spread unevenly I got more interesting results when I heated it. I then added a little PE of a different color (before heating) for a different look. It is really fun to play with. If you use a stipple brush to spread the glue it will be spread more evenly but it isn't as much fun. Wash the brush immediately if you don't want a ruined brush. I put my stipple brush in water and then squeeed it out when I wanted to use the brush again. Washing it clean every time was too much work. This technique is time consuming which is why I cut my CS into strips to use it on cards. It went further. If you have other questins my email is [email protected].
