It's that time of year again! Fan Club Members get to play along with the Dirty Girls. I decided to combine a couple challenges for this card.
First, it's for Tracy's It's in the Bag! Challenge. We were to make creative packaging using premade or invented boxes and bags. Well, I've had the plain white boxes FOREVER and a day, so I decided to finally use one.
Since it was plain, ol' white, I decided to incorporate Betty's DP by ME challenge. We were to make our very own background papers.
To pick my colors, I relied on this So Coral Opulence Color Challenge Forums at Splitcoaststampers. I first stamped the Canvas Background onto the box (I should say this box came in two, flat pieces. The folds were creased.) with So Saffron ink. Next I stamped the small butterfly with Orchid Opulence and the small blossom with Cameo Coral. I then spritzed So Saffron marker all over the box for added texture. I added the scalloped piece of Orchid Opulence along the top. I stamped the sentiment onto Whisper White cs with Cameo Coral ink and the butterfly with So Saffron and Orchid Opulence. I stamped the butterfly again on Whisper White cs so I could cut it out and adhere it to the first butterfly with a Mini Glue Dot. I then folded up the wings, added the Cameo Coral 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon and considered it done.
