I followed the sketch pretty closely, I stamped the little leaves in the background with Willow, Espresso and Meadow inks. I stamped the branch in Espresso and colored the leaves with my copics. I stamped the branch a second time and cut each leaf out and popped it up on a rolled up mini glue dot. You shoulda seen me doin' that one! This card looks so much better in person, I took lots of shots, but couldn't get the perfect one.
Melissa, This is a gorgeous card. I love that you cut out all the little leaves and they make such an impact on the project. I have a hint for working with your glue dots. YOu may already do this but just in case..........I use my paper piercer tool tip to pick up one or more glue dots. I then roll them with my finger, attach the the ball lightly back on the tool tip, apply to my small cut out piece. This method then allows me to use the tool to place the image just exactly where I want it. The tool is so much better for placing the image than trying to hold it in my fingers. I hope this makes since. If you don't have a piercer, then use the tip of your scissors, a pencil, etc.

This is beautiful. I once had to use glue dots like that when I was teaching a class, and I said never again. I use thin foam tape - much easier to cut to size, and the 1mm thick one is great for paper tole.
