This is a card I made for an SCS friend who happens to love Asian themed cards.
The image was hand-drawn by my daughter for an art assignment earlier this year. I scanned the 11X17" sketch and then resized it and printed on watercolour paper for the texture. It's matted in simple gold and black and layered on some dp from the Far East collection.
The ribbon is tied in a faux obi - like one I saw on the web for a wedding dress.
Thanks for taking a peek!

Not only is your daughter so wonderfully talented, but so is Mom. Now this is exactly what I was talking about on your other card. This is fascinating and so amazingly asian. Oh my, I'm speechless over here with this beauty! Beyond belief, this one is Laurie. someone is going to be one very fortunate person to have this in their hand. I just know any word appropriate to describe this magnificent artwork. I'm totally impressed with the talent that runs in your family, my sweet friend.

this is a very beautiful card.
Your daughter should continue on with her art. Is she planning on doing this for a living. She will have great success. I would buy her art if you girls live here in MN.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? This card is so simple, so elegant, so beautiful. You both have such wonderful artistic talents. I hope we see more of your DD's art work showcased like this on your great cards.
