Fanciful Flowers Stamp Set
Stamp a ma jig
Dazzling Diamonds glitter
2-way glue pen
Fold neutral cardstock in half at score line to make mini card.
Stamp leafy stem from stamp set on front of card.
Stamp large flower outline in pale plum on top of stem.
Use Stamp a ma jig to position and stamp large flower detail in Perfect Plum. (great way to sell stamp a ma jigs, use in a make n take)
Mount mini card on pale plum cs.
Mount again on full card, off center to the right to allow room for your ribbon.
Run ribbon inside card, near spine, and pull both ends out of card edges and tie in bow at center of card front.
Use glue pen in the center of the flower, sprinkle w/ glitter, and shake off excess.
Ribbon tip: to tie a bow and get your tails hanging where you want them, turn your bow upside down while you tie, so the tails will end up away from you.
This isn't so necessary on a sideways bow, but if I tie a bow at the top of the card, my tails turn up. So I turn the card so the top is at the bottom while I'm tying.
Then when I turn the card right side up again, the tails are hanging down towards the card like they should.
New stampers will appreciate the ease of this card and still feel they created something beautiful. Don't forget to add a "Handmade by "stamp on the back and a greeting stamp inside. This card show's the versatility of Stampin' Up!'s Inspiration Sheets. I don't have the set featured in the sheet, but was able to use that resource to create a similar card with a set I have. You can also experiment with the alternate color scheme suggested on the sheet. (Brocade Blue, Gable Green, Cameo Coral, and Barely Banana)
Hope you enjoyed the Make n Take! Have a great Monday!
