Now I can hear the Inkspots singing about the swallows flying back to Capistrano - although in fact this card was inspired by a little blue wildflower I saw in the garden this morning.
I was tidying through some old papers the other day, and came across some that I kept out to try to use. No idea what make these are, they came as a gift from a magazine. I used the red striped one for the base, and the blue for the strip. I stamped the flowers using markers, and added clear Sakura Stardust to the centres of the flowers. I punched them out and sponged the edges with Creamy Brown. I stamped a flourish from Rhonna Farrer onto the base, and added the swallow. Tied some cream organza ribbon round the end of the narrow strip, to finish it off.
