Although this fits the sketch challenge for today, it's a follow-up to Mothermark's Tea-party yesterday. People were saying there wasn't much to eat, and I never brought a basket yesterday. So, since I only had to nip back from France, I came home and fetched my basket, packing it up with Mars Bar Squares, Peanut Butter cookies and some Aniseed cookies left from the weekend. They should go well with the Pernod that I am sure somebody has found!
The red herring is that the hare heard that he had a chance at a rematch with the tortoise - but he misheard, because there are only snails and some bicycles around. Crafty hare, he left an enticing cup of tea in the path, but that snail looks pretty determined to ignore the tea to me.
Paper is a photo of my basket - didn't realise it was that worn!! The green paper is Best Creations. The teacup is made out of circle punches, with Liquid Pearls for the steam. The hare is made by the English Stamp Company. The snail did have a lovely pattern stamped on the shell with that pesky Platinum ink from yesterday - it looks like silk brocade but it doesn't show. I stamped the vellum strip with Fanciful Filaments from Hero Arts, and folded it over the base at the sides. The sentiment is from the PTI set I won from Schirmcat, decorated with a pearl.

Sabrina, I love your basket. I hope your snail wins. I think your bunny is going to have to watch out for the bikes. All the treats that you brought in your basket sound so yummy! I love how the vellum strip looks.

I love that you used a photo of a basket - I have been kicking around doing some cards with photos. Super job! I haven't had any aniseed cookies in forever, can I have some?

Cute card! Love the photo of your basket as the base for your card. The little images and the vellum background are perfect!

Oh my Sabrina, what a cool basket card. How creative is this. Love the sketch too, you did so good here. Gotta love that little snail and the bunny too. Clever to make a tea cup this way.
